Chef, storyteller, and content creator
I’m Steven Gao, a professional chef and cooking content creator.
Through my content, I have been able to share approachable, technique-driven cooking and show you all the realities of learning, failing, and improving through my own culinary journey.
From culinary school to professional kitchens, my goal is to bring transparency to the culinary industry while respecting its traditions.
Teaching has always been at the center of what I do. Whether it’s breaking down techniques, explaining a decision, or showing the process behind a dish. I care deeply about helping others build their confidence in the kitchen as I do too.
Cooking, to me, is about learning, improving, and making people happy in the process.
